The relatively new consolidated California cannabis regulatory authority, the Department of Cannabis Control (“DCC”), has recently had its proposed regulations approved by the Office of Administrative Law (“OAL”). The DCC submitted its proposed regulations to the OAL on September 15, 2021, and allowed for public comment until September 20, 2021. After some final revisions, the consolidated regulations were approved on September 27, 2021.
